ice maker is doing a terrible job. I bought a new side x side Frigidaire for our new renovation even though we had a 2016 model that was doing well.

this is in a beach house so we kept the 2016 model and put it in our laundry room so that we have extra storage and ICE!! The new 2022 model was not putting out ice from the time we hooked it up and turned it on. I called service and they sent someone out and he said that their ice makers used to cycle every 45 minutes and now they only cycle every 90 minutes!! What???

There's an automatic cut off so if it makes too much stop making it!!! I LIKE MY ICE!!! All day long especially at the beach! What genius came up with that idea!!!

I would like a new computer chip or ice maker or something so that it will make a reasonable amount of ice in a reasonable amount of time!! I NEVER KNEW that I should ask how often the ice cycles and I don't think that the sales person would even know. I have tried all of the common sense DIY solutions that they have on their web site to no avail!!

It takes 4 days of NO ICE USAGE for it to make 1 bin of ice. Thank goodness I kept the 2016 model so that I have some ice!!

Preferred solution: I would like to get a solution for this problem. A new computer module or ice maker or whatever it takes and the service to have it corrected.

Worst Experience Ever

I would rate Frigidaire as less than 1. We purchased a new appliance (laundry center) on 3/29/23.

It was delivered on 4/3/23 and stopped working within 90 days. It came from Home Depot, so I contacted them first, only to be told that there is not return option. Talked to Frigidaire to start the warranty repair process on June 18, 2023. As of today, we still have no part and no promise of repair any time soon.

I found out that the unit we bought new from Home Depot was over a year old at the time of purchase. We are between a rock and a hard place. We can't make contact with anyone at Frigidaire without spending 30-45 mins on the phone and have to start over with the entire process every single time.

We have spent over $200 going to the laudrymat during this time and have a steel hunk of junk that we can't afford to scrap and replace. Frigidaire should be ashamed!

Poor customer experience

Communicating effectively in English is not their strong suit. When it comes to more complex requests, such as finding a suitable replacement for a discontinued item, their attitude makes it seem like you are asking for the moon.

Frigidaire's customer service has been outsourced to individuals who lack listening skills, and they struggle to comprehend anything beyond basic inquiries.

They often redirect you to different departments, only to be told that it's not the right one, ultimately leading you back to general customer service.

The wait times on chat are unreasonably long, and even when you do manage to reach a live person by navigating through the automated system, they disappoint with their superior attitude. As a result, Frigidaire lost a sale today.

Lowes delivered and installed my new range but they didnt attach the rear filler strip. After they left i figured out what the part was. It seems to me it should be put on to keep any object from falling behind the range. Problem is i dont have or know what screw should be used to attach it to the back of the stove. I think it should be attached securely. Any suggestion on screws to use?

Dangerous Stove

They refuse to do anything. They think it's okay that the outside of my stainless steel stove gets to be 141 degrees and higher!

Also the inside of the oven show a hot white on the sides when you open the door.

It's dangerous! If a fire starts, I want it noted everywhere that I have tried to get assistance from Frigidaire and Electrolux.

We bought a stove in March. It gets so hot you cant touch the knobs. They tell me nothing can be done. It burned my grandsons hand. I want a replacement!

Unhappy with my brand new frigidaire dishwasher

dishwasher show top with a dead from the brick i was told either keep it and receive a discount or weight one month for a replacement since i booked a professional installation i had to keep it now the door doesn't open the soap dispenser and the dishes never dry

Purchased New Freezer, after one day it beeped all night. Read the Manual & mentioned Freexer has to reach a certain Temp. Decided to turn it to colder temp. The beeping went on the whole Labor Day .

Freezer didnt work from first day. Beeped all Labor Day wknd. Mon. Family was leaving had made banana bread. Opened frig. Food was thawed out. Now I have to wait 11 days for new Freezer. WHO COMPENSATES FOR LOSS OF MY FOOD LOST??? Sad a Consumer gets NO RECOGNITION. 13 days later a Freezer!!!

I wanted my freezer to freeze my ice cream and make my ice the first Frigidaire man that came out did his best but he didnt fix it right so the second man that came out by the name of Eddie did an excellent job and is working good now

Gave me the run around related to filters i ordered from them they claimed they did not receive anything from me event though I showed them proof. They kept referring me to different numbers with the same outcome...you need to talk to this number..never have received anything from me

The refrigerator stopped working after only two months. I got the "High Temp" message on panel, called customer service, was told to reset by unplugging for 5 minutes, but it did not resolve the issue

I bought a new Frigidaire 36.1 inch, 22.3 cu ft counter depth refrigerator from Home Depot. After about two months, I saw "High Temp" light in red on the front panel. I called support, and they asked me to reset the refrigerator by unplugging for 5 minutes, but that did not resolve the issue. I never had a new refrigerator break down like this after two months. I will never buy Frigidaire again.
