I was scammed by a repairman

I had a leaky fridge. Frigidaire warranty uses All Set Appliance repair.

They sent Justin. While there, he noticed my floors needed repairs. He said he does that kind of work on the side. I couldn't get anyone else to do it, so reluctantly, I hired him, although he's not a licensed contractor.

Big mistake! After giving him $2800, the materials didn't get delivered and I wasn't going to let any demo go on until he could complete the job. I told him to cancel. No work was done, no flooring was paid for.

He never showed me a receipt or proof of materials ordered. Last I heard from him, he said I can sue him if I want my money back. Actually, it's criminal, not civil.

It's theft. I don't know if all of their employees are crooks, but in my opinion and experience, Justin is a thief.

Chest freezer stopped working after 5 years

Frigidaire - Chest freezer stopped working after 5 years
I bought a 15cf Frigidaire chest freezer 5 years ago, and it is now not freezing, this all started a month ago, the temperature raised to 10 degrees now it's at 25 degrees and running constantly. These aren't cheap to buy, either. WTH should I have to buy a new 900.00 freezer every 5 years. My opinion is they're junk!! Everything is enclosed except the compressor and a few minor parts to replace on that. So it's just junk and throw away. I have lost all my food because of this junk freezer.

Air conditioner,stopped working

My air conditioner is blowing out hot air. I called the company since I have a plan on it and they said they would contact me within 7 to 10 business days. I have not heard or received any email from them to this day.

User's recommendation: I am not sure, because that's a long time to be without a working air conditioner. I don't know why bother to pay for a warranty or plan if they can't resolve an issue like this sooner.

Scammed out of $700. False promise

We had a brand new dishwasher that was defective and past the warranty period. I was told if we bought another Frigidaire dishwasher we could get reimbursement if we showed our receipt. The first time we spoke they said not to worry and they will send me an email. I called back the next day and there were no notes and said they would call me back. I havent heard from them. This is a week later. I would not have bought another dishwasher from Frigidaire if I knew they were not going to give me reimbursement. I feel scammed.

I purchased a frigidaire model in july of 2020. Three fridges failed in a row and it was under warranty.

Frigidaire said they did not have any like fridges in stock due to Covid and prices have also increased. They told me to pick another manufacturers similar fridge that was in stock and they would reimburse Lowes. I spoke to Lowes and Frigidaire over 30 times each to verify that info and they confirmed it over and over. I got the replacement fridge that was in stock and Lowes charged me and will not release the hold that Frigidaire said they would take care of.

I spoke to a rep today who is quite possibly the biggest buffoon around. She refused to go back and listen to calls or review conversation days that I requested and said case was closed. She was so lazy she closed the dispute without listening or attempting to resolve. Basically, Frigidaire sold me three trashy fridges in a row.

They kept failing. 3rd was under warranty and frigidaire said to go find a comparable one that is in stock at Lowes and they would reimburse me since they could not ship a fridge for months. Do not buy from them unless you want to be repeatedly lied to for 8 months and get trash for a product.

I just bought two big deep freezes from frigidaire that are going back tomorrow morning. Its a really poor company that has refused to honor their commitments or poor products.

Bought counter top ice maker. Worked poorly from start. It broke on the discharge arm at 3 months. Called for warranty and was sent to the company that handles their warranty. Gave me line a of crap, had to submit 10 photos description and all kinds of info. Then after 10 days they say ship it to Trius in California at my expense. *** it cost $50 to send the damn thing from. TX to Cali. It didn't cost but $94 to start with. What puss poor customer service. I'll never buy Frigidaire again

Oven glass shattered

Well, Im 3 weeks away from when my oven glass shattered. Frigidaire did give me 20% off new glass. Sent a new glass in a couple of days and was damaged in shipment and now been waiting for replacement shipment. Suppose to come March 1st. Honestly, I cant really trust the glass again. Being shipped from Charlotte NC to Chattanooga TN. Im sure the new glass will get compromised and it will explode again. Unless the installer can assure me that he doesnt see any micro cracks on this new glass. Ill never peer into my oven door window again.

New freezer arrived with defect. No replacement

Freezer arrived with door that will not seal due to a manufacturing defect in the door. After many calls Frigidaire will replace door..in 4-6 months! In the mean time our frozen items are toast or the freezer has to run constantly. We asked for replacement and they will not replace the whole unit even if defective. 4-6 months is unacceptable time frame. We found out they have many of these freezers with the same problem and they are still selling the defective units. We are hoping to join a class action lawsuit at this time.

Substandard Appliances

I had a house built in 2016 and chose the Frigidaire appliance package. In the short six years I have had these the refrigerator has gone out, the microwave had to be replaced as well as the dishwasher. The package was not cheap but when I contacted Frigidaire about these issues, they have basically washed their hands of any responsibility. Never again will I buy anything Frigidaire! If you are smart you will stay as far away from this brand as possible. I replaced the refrigerator and dishwasher with Bosch appliances and have been extremely happy with those thus far!

Terrible experience for replacement microwave

Our home is a new build and the appliances are brand new. We've been in our home less then a year and our microwave has gone out. Theres been 3 technicians who have said the same thing that we need a replacement. It's been almost 2 months since it went out and the company has handled this poorly and we've had a technician reschedule on us twice and didnt even bother to show up on the day of and did not call us to let us know they were not coming. They gave us another number and it just rings or we're on hold for hours. Very disappointed in the customer service and the experience. We could've bought a new microwave by now.

I saw at Lowe's that the Frigidaire that I have that I just purchased 3 months ago said do not sell being recalled I called Frigidaire company and they said nothing is being recalled so I'm trying to figure out why that note was on the Frigidaire that I purchased if nothing is being recalled

Ben Türkiyeden Yazıyorum burada doğru dürüst servis ağınıza ulaşamadım. Evimdeki bulaşık makinası yüzünden ailece ölümden döndük ve o korkuyla yaşıyoruz şuan.

25.01.2022 tarihinde gece 11.00 gibi bulaşık makinasını çülıştırmış ve uyumak için yakmıştım. Sabaha karşı alt komşumun telefonla arayarak evinizden su damlıyor demesi ile uyandırıldık. Evin mutfak tarafına giderken ara koridorlarda ayak bileğimize kadar evin su dolduğunu fark ettik. Mutfak kapısını açtığımızda mutfak göz gözü görmeyen bir gazlı duman ile doluydu.

Mutfak küçük olmasına rağmen camı gazdan nefes alamadığım için zor açabildim. Makina çalışıyordu ve sürekli su alıyordu. Biraz havalanınca ancak makineyi ve su musluğunu kapatabildim. Bu zorlu kış (-5-10) şartlarında zorlukla evdeki suyu ve gazlı dimanı tahliye ettik birçok eşyalarımızı attık .Bulaşık makinasının kenarı ve dolap kenarı yanmıştı ayrıca makinenin içinde ne yanmış ise öyle bir gaz ve is vardı ki tüm eşlalara ve eve sinmişti.

Zorluklarla temizledik ve tabi ki hastalandık . Ancak bizim asıl korkumuz şu oldu. Mutfak kapımız açık olsaydı uyurken gazdan zehirlenmeştik ve ailece ölmüştük. Ayrıca fark edilmeseydi makine iyice yanacak yanğın çıkacaktı ve biz yanarak ölecektik.

Bizi bu duruma ve bu korkuya sebep verdiği için başka insanların başına böyle bir durum gelmemesi için Frigideire makinasının incelenmesini ve mağduriyetimizin giderilmesini talep ediyoruz. Konuya çözüm getireceğiniz ümidiyle İyi çalışmalar dilerim.

Freezer broke in a year.

My freezer broke down right at a year after purchase and they said they would fix it under warranty. I had a local tech come out and he did not have the equipment to fix it.

They lined up another company from another city but they would not come because they said it is to far. I called eight times over 5 months and nothing would ever happen. They said they would have a manager call back but I got no return calls.

Now today when I called they said they would not cover it under warranty because it is past a year. So they just have been wasting my time and I have lost $900, which is the purchase price.

My suggestion is if you are thinking of buying a Frigidaire appliance, save your time and money plus frustration, and don't buy from them.
