I purchased a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator in August 2021. I did not purchase the extended warranty.
Eighteen months later (6 months out of manufacturer's warranty), the compressor died...and the compressor fan died as well. I called the repairman. The compressor died because the compressor fan prop (blade) had entirely detached from the fan shaft. So the fan motor failed, and the compressor burned up!
My repairman wouldn't replace it because he said the cost would exceed the cost of a new refrigerator.
I called Frigidaire. The phone rep offered me a 40% off coupon plus another 10% off coupon on a replacement Frigidaire refrigerator.
Problem is: HE DIDN'T SEND ME THE COUPON. I called FRIGIDAIRE and no one knew anything about a coupon. I called again, and no change.
Meanwhile I was withoujt a refrigerator. So I went to Lowe's and bought a Maytag, ON SALE>
I sent two letters to Frigidaire, the first one was ignored. After the second letter, I got a call from a woman who said FRIGIDAIRE would offer me a $75.00 food spoilage voucher. I refused because I knew it would represent FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT.
The lady acknowledged that a coupon was offered, but THAT IT WAS NEVER SENT.
BOTTOM LINE: Frigidaire would do nothing because I bought a non-Frigidaire brand replacement, despite the promise of a 50% coupon, WHICH WAS NEVER SENT>
i AM CONSIDERING A SMALL CLAIMS HEARING IN MY HOMETOWN.
(Below I saw that I will be asked to show proof of purchase. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD ALL THAT.)
User's recommendation: Buy another brand. Frigidaire obviously doesn't appreciate their customer base. (I have a housefull of Frigidaire products), but I will never buy another one.

We bought and had delivered a Frigidaire 3 door refrigerator/freezer from Home Depot September 17, 2023. On Sept 22, the delivery people said they were not suppose to hook it up.
They left and my husband hooked it up. The next day I called Home Depot to tell them and that the ice maker was not working correctly. They have shipped 3 since then with each one being damaged. We refused each one and now they tell Home Depot they will not ship another one.
This is not good service as we had nothing to do with the damages on the refrigerator. It is not our fault the refrig is being delivered damaged. I have taken pictures of each one. Home Depot says there is nothing they can do.
Frigidaire gave me two choices, keep the one I have or they will pick it up and give me a refund. What kind of choice is that. Today is November 7, they are picking it up on November 10th.
2 months of this doing with out a properly working refrig, having to move the furniture each time a delivery has been set up to make room for the delivery people, cleaning out the refrig. That is terrible customer service.

Horrible customer service! Bought a freezer from a store and didnt work from the beginning.
The store wouldnt exchange it until Frigidaire authorized it. They sent the authorization to exchange it after the tech determined the compressor wasnt working. The new freezer had the same issue (bad compressor) and now they are giving me the run around for the exchange since September.
Customer service is horrible, wont listen, wont write correct notes and the supervisor that I spoke to was awful and kept talking over me He hung up after I kept saying something and he kept interrupting me! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Dear Madam or Sir:
My husband and I built our home in 2020. During that time, we purchased Frigidaire appliances for our kitchen in side our new home.
Twenty years earlier we built our town home and purchased Frigidaire appliances for our kitchen then, too, and had no problems during those twenty years. However, after moving into our present home, we have had nothing but problems with our refrigerator and microwave. We have had the repair man to come repeatedly to fix our refrigerator and it continues to wake us up at night with loud noises that he still does not know how to fix. Our refrigerator not only makes loud noises; but, the ice maker leaks water, and it no longer cools as it should.
This should NOT be the case with a new refrigerator that is now going on three years old. Having a repair man who has never solved the problem is pointless. Additionally, our microwave's digital numbers intermittently do not work properly. Whenever, we plan to schedule someone to fix that, they suddenly work again; yet, stil does not work properly at this time.
It is embarrassing when we have visitors to witness our "new" refrigerator malfunctioning this way. Again, we never had issues with our appliances in our previous newly built home after twenty years and are now at our wits end taking time off work for a repair man to fix our refrigerator that should be trouble free right now. This is unbelievable and should not be happening.
We chose Frigidaire because we thought we were selecting a reputable company that created quality appliances. As of the last three years, we have experienced nothing but, disappointment, poor quality, wasted time and money, despite being loyal customers of Frigidaire for many years.
Please help us resolve these issues and/or direct to the proper person who will.

Anyone who is thinking of purchasing a Frigidaire appliance better think twice. We purchased a top load washing machine and a little over 2 the finish started to peel off like a cheap paint job.
Frigidaire refused to take any responsibility saying it is only cosmetic and will not cover it. This leaves them open to do shady paint jobs most likely to save money and stick to the consumer. If you think the extended warranty might give you a little help, think again because it is just a worthless piece of paper. So much for buying American.
Oh if you were thinking of calling Solve It 7 in Boston for help, all you will get is an automatic list of numbers to call as long as your arm. Looks like your just on your own and good luck.

They replaced the doors they replaced the hedges they replaced the gaskets then because the incompetent people couldn't fix it they claimed that it was damaged from delivery remind this is after the third visit they said damage and then Frigidaire went with the incompetent company
