My Range was only 2 years old. The glass exploded in the middle of the night when I was asleep.

It was not turned on. I contacted Lowe's where I bought it and the appliance person said to call the service department. He indicated that they would fix it. I had told him that it was 2 years old with no warranty.

The service department told me no that it was out of warranty. I explained to her that this was a factory defect. I also called Frigidaire they said the same thing. My advice to anyone purchase a warranty!

Home warranties are not expensive. Because the appliances they make now are all not made well.
