What exactly is the "essential" part of the freezer you are missing? Was the freezer delivered or did you pick it up? If it was delivered and a part "essential" to its operation was missing, why did you accept it?

Piece of crap!! Since the day we got the full freeer it has been freezer burning food a two weeks later sometimes earlier the repair mam said it's cause it automatically defrosts and freezes again. So much good wasted then the fridge seal wasn't tight the repairman complained how much work it was to fix it we also asked him why the water is pooling out from under the fridge he said could be the pan broke never took the effort to look or figure it and he was called out to repair that the seal doesn't feel right and now the temperature is way off in the fridge everything has turned to ice it's been 5 days now and you can't even call anyone to talk to it's only an email to submit the appliance info I want to talk to the manager and complain About the service . Thanksgiving is in a few days and can't have any food in fridge or it will turn to ice Not happy!!!

My Husband and I purchased our brand new freezer in June 2016 at our local military base. As soon as it was delivered (paid for delivery) the freezer was turned on . The freezer would not freeze! We were told to contact fridgidaire directly. They sent over a technician right away and they replaced parts and fixed the problem. Fast forward to today (July 2017) a little past our 1 yr warranty, we wake up to thawed out food . My husband calls customer service and gets a very rude lady who had no intent of helping him out. She offered him an extended warranty and tell him it would be effective in 30days! so of course he take it into his own hands. WE call a technician to come out only to tell us that the compressor unit needs to be replaced and is going to cost us ($400) .He even recomended we get a new freezer! I call back myself and finally spoke to someone that helps us. She explains the warranty better and of course i find out that once the warranty was purchased it would be effective immediately. So ofourse the $75 dollars that we spent to only have someone come out to tell us our freezer is broken went down the drain. Things happen yes . Money is money but the moral of my story is please save your money and headache. My husband had to leave work just to come home and meet the repair man. We did our research and saw many good reviews before we purchased this freezer. i will be spreading bad reviews to military families about this product. this is just one less things our service members want to deal with.

Frigidaire - Inferior Product!!! Under 2 years old!

I do not recommend buying any products from Electrolux/Frigidaire. Our free standing freezer (purchased in June 2015) is under 2 years old and has needed service twice!!!! When I called to speak to a supervisor, all they could do was inform me of the "lemon law"! Ridiculous! We have had to waste/throw away a freezer full of food - Twice! We have 5 children and need a freezer that works! The "lemon law" states that a product must have the SAME faulty parts a minimum of 3 times before it can be replaced (lots of fine print to this of course, guaranteeing that no one ever receives a replacement). I don't understand how companies these days are putting such poor quality products and they are getting away with it!

Horrible product. 7 years had the same freezer component problem. Repaired for the fifth time now. Company won't stand behind product. Customer service is actually worse then product. On phone for an hour was given a concession number to give to repair company. # does not exist....call back no record of call and will no longer honor discount.

Hhgregg - NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HH GREGG!!!!!

They delivered a defective freezer that did not freeze the food, made horrible noises and had a door that would only open forcefully. They left me on hold for one hour in order to schedule a replacement. Never showed up with the replacement and when I called to inquire, they told me sorry someone didn't put in the ticket properly. When asked to speak with a manager, I could hear them laughing at me in the background, before leaving me on hold for 40 minutes only to have the first customer service rep answer the phone. Total of 2 HOURS phone time to get a refund!! NEVER NEVER NEVER TRUST THE NAME OR ORDER FROM HHGREGG!!!! Other stores are cheaper once you do your research.

Frigidaire in Thibodaux, Louisiana - Entire house of Frigedaire products are junk.

I have too many Frigedaire appliances that are junk to mention. Thir repair crews have just left for the NINTH TIME ON A TOTALLY REBUILT FREEZER AT MY COSTS, IN AUGUST OF 2014, and it still doesn't work. Absolutely horrible. They need to go out if business...be sterilized...much the same way a veterinarian sterilizes an animal with defects, some genes and traits are not passed on into the population. All of these appliances are junk. Customer service is a joke.
