Verified ReviewerResolved: The worst products and customer service on the planet
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They sent a e credit card
We called the manufacturer to have it repaired because it fell within the warranty (we purchased extended).
After 4 service calls, it was never repaired. No one knew how. This has been going on for 4 months. Now, with this unit broken down.
No ice and water running on my floor since December.
I have called multiple times requesting my money back. They want a service person to say it is not repairable but have no one in the area to come here to assess the problem.
They should be sued for selling such crap.
I will go spend my hard-earned money elsewhere, and I will certainly no longer be purchasing Frigidaire products,

Verified Reviewer |Frigidaire gallery over the range microwave failed in less than a year
- - Microwave became very loud and burned after 8–9 months.
- - Warranty expired; bought about 13 months ago.
- - Repair quote near replacement cost; no warranty.
After approximately eight or nine months of lite use, suddenly the microwave became extremely loud and then started burning, smelling like the house was on fire. Luckily, I was able to shut it down immediately.
I purchased the unit 13 months before, so no factory warranty remained. Frigidaire quoted me nearly the same price I paid for the microwave to repair it with no warranty. The microwave was not damaged in any way, installation was done flawlessly, and it had its own 20 amp dedicated circuit. Nothing we did caused this problem.
It's not just the cost of a new one; there's the labor of removal and installation of a new unit as well. This is absolutely unacceptable. Microwaves have always been the most reliable appliance I've purchased until now; that's why I didn't purchase the extended warranty.
Model # in the pics. My one-star review on Lowe's website for this product was blocked, by Frigidaire I presume, and not posted; that's fraud in my book.
- Dead in eight months

Verified Reviewer |Defective Induction Range under warranty
- - Bought from Lowe's; model FCF13082BSD.
- - Delivered Jan; worked until Apr when EO22.
- - Parts on backorder; Sears repair delay, could take months.
Purchased from Lowes, model number FCF13082BSD, (which does not even come up when trying to leave a review) in late December 2025, delivered in early January. Worked fine until early April.
Woke up in the middle of the night to it beeping and showing an error message of EO22. Went to the Frigidaire website to troubleshoot. No error codes available for induction ranges. Tried resetting several times from the breaker.
No change. Goes right back into error code. Nothing working. Requested a service appointment as the unit is under warranty.
Frigidaire doesn't have anyone to do repairs in my area, so they sent the repair request to Sears Home Services. Sears scheduled my service appointment for April 21st but was able to move it up to April 14th due to a cancellation. The service guy calls the morning of the appointment. Asks what kind of range I have, gas or electric?
I tell him induction. He says it is unlikely that he will be able to fix it that day, but he is coming. The repairman (very nice gentleman) determines that it may be a bad control or PC board. He will have to order the parts, have them sent to my home, and will hopefully be able to come back on May 1st if the parts have arrived.
He will need a helper to do the job. (By May 1st, it will be almost a month without a means to cook.) I get an email on April 15th, saying that the parts have been ordered, but they are on backorder. I go back to the Frigidaire website to chat with a customer service rep who tells me that they do not know how long it will take to get the parts but if it goes over 60 days, they can then, and only then, request a replacement unit. Not guaranteed, of course.
Parts actually arrive on the 20th of April. The technician is scheduled to come today, May 1st, with the helper he advised was needed to facilitate the repair. I get a text message from the repairman saying that Sears Home Services has not provided him an additional set of hands today, so he will not be coming. I should go back to the Frigidaire website or Sears Home Services website and put in a new ticket for the repair.
Impossible to get an actual human being on the phone at Sears Home Services. Nothing but an AI bot to reschedule and cannot understand that a second pair of hands is needed. Schedule the repair for Tuesday, May 5th, and text the repair technician the date. He will request the helper for that date but will not know if one will be available until the morning of the scheduled appointment.
If not, I will have to reschedule it again and take yet another chance that the request for a second pair of hands will be ignored. This nonsense has to go on for at least 60 days before Frigidaire will even consider replacing the unit and by then I will have been without a means to cook for over 3 months! And I haven't even finished paying for the unit yet! I bought 3 Frigidaire appliances for my new home.
Big mistake all around. Should never have bought the appliances from Lowes, and never Frigidaire, as they have no repair people outside of highly populated urban areas.
- No local service people
Preferred solution: Replacement
User's recommendation: Stick to buying your appliances from a local appliance store that can guarantee warranty repairs and think twice before you buy an induction range.

Verified Reviewer |Refrigerator less than 2yrs old failed
- - Refrigerator is less than 2 years old and has cooling and seal issues.
- - Frigidaire wants $215 for service; the seal problem persists.
Don’t buy Frigidaire.
After $80 and a couple of trips, they determined the issue was the seal. Now Frigidaire says they can send a service person but wants me to pay $215. At delivery, I asked the installer about the seal because it didn't seem to be strong. I was assured it would be fine.
Fast forward, the motor was overworking, the freezer was not defrosting, and the refrigerator was not cooling.
The seal is in no different condition than when purchased; it just never sealed properly and now is causing worsening issues. Refrigerators should last more than 2 years, and I should not have to pay for something that is a result of shoddy manufacturing.
- Once in a while i got a live agent
- Agents sometimes gave the runaround or had wrong information
- Poor quality and warranty

Verified Reviewer |Subject: Formal Complaint and Request...
- - This is a missed appointment, with a claim of no contact and a request for escalation.
- - The next available appointment is two weeks away.
Subject: Formal Complaint and Request for Immediate Escalation Missed Service Appointment (Ticket #100635****)
To Whom It May Concern,
I am submitting this formal complaint to the corporate office regarding the unacceptable handling of my service appointment under Ticket #100635****. What occurred today reflects a serious failure in your service process, and it requires immediate attention from someone with decision-making authority.
Your technician reported that he attempted to contact me and left because no one was home. This claim is entirely false.
I was waiting for his call starting at 9:00 AM, based on the most recent text message from Frigidaire confirming an appointment window of 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM. I monitored my phone continuously. At 8:35 AM, I received a text stating that the technician, Victor, was at the call ahead of mine. Approximately 25 minutes later, I received another text stating he was on his way. The tracking link provided was completely useless, showing only a static map with my address and no real-time updates.
Despite following all instructions and waiting as directed, I then received an email stating that my appointment had been cancelled. When I called the customer service number listed (844-327-****), I was told the technician claimed he called me and left when I did not respond. I did not receive any call, not on my phone nor through our lobby intercom. At the very least, he should have attempted multiple calls or used the intercom system. He did neither.
This is not an isolated inconvenience. I have been without laundry equipment for over a month, especially after the previous appointment was cancelled due to a technician emergency. I have now lost two full workdays waiting for service that never occurred. This is equipment under warranty, and no customer should be subjected to this level of negligence.
To make matters worse, I am now being told that the next available appointment is two weeks from now. This is entirely unreasonable given the repeated failures on your end. If this is the standard of service Frigidaire provides, it will undoubtedly cost you customers. At this point, I am seriously regretting my decision to purchase this machine.
I want to note that I apologized to the customer service agent who took my call, as my frustration was directed at the situation not at her personally. However, the systemic issues in your service process must be addressed.
I am requesting immediate escalation, a prompt response, and a resolution that demonstrates accountability and respect for your customers' time. I expect Frigidaire to take responsibility for these repeated failures and to provide a timely solution without further delays.

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
- - Refrigerator stopped cooling within a year; resets did not fix it.
- - Last service appointment did not show up.
- - Order number is via Lowe's.
Provided Lowe’s a return number and Lowe’s refunded my money. Never buy anything from this company.
Truth be told, I know how to reset it, so you all are losing a customer and losing money at the same time. The last service, no one showed up, and you all ask how the service was... non-existence! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I have your appliances in my home throughout, and I bought this one for my daughter, who has a baby and has not been able to keep his milk in the fridge for over 3 months now. I expected more from a brand this big. I know that your customer service rep has been trained to string us along until the warranty ends since she attempted to sell us an extended warranty.
If this is not rectified, I will never purchase another Frigidaire item ever again.
Order number is via Lowe's.

Verified ReviewerTried to get someone to talk to me. I have issues I need help.
- - Frigidaire Galaxy 8in burner burnt out; replacement ordered; old burner has five wires; new burner has five speeds with jumper; unsure what to do.
Not well at all ..I’ve had this burner for about two weeks. No one has responded to my request for help not eBay not the eBay seller or Frigidaire.
I’ve talked to several young ladies in the Philippines, but they do not know anything about the wire. Can anyone out there in this world explain to me how to connect these wires please do so not able to cook my stove is disconnected.
She was unable to answer my question. The original 8 inch burner on my glass top stove burn out.
I ordered a new one. The supplier sent it, but the wiring is different.
It has five spades on it, but it has a jumper on it also and I’m not sure what to do with the jumper apparently no one can answer that question that I call Frigidaire six times. No one knows someone an engineering knows cause they changed the design on the burner and no one never notified me, but I’m just so lonely old boy down here in the south trying to make a living.
User's recommendation: Please, someone answer my service call. I have a mess here. No one never answered the call. I talked to an automated system as you transferred me and no one never spoke to me.
Frigidaire Refrigerator
- - Bought Frigidaire fridge from Lowes in February; it stopped cooling after ~5 weeks, with repair delays and a part order delaying service to Apr 13.
We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in February from Lowes . It worked about 5 weeks and stopped cooling/ freezing.
So we spent hours on the phone with Frigidaire, after Lowes told us that they couldnt help us after 30 days. So we finally got through to one of their service companies whose customer service reps are in the Phillipines. They made us an appointment for last Tuesday March 31st. The service technician came and checked it out and had to order a part which would take 2-3 days to get.
So we figured that we could get the refrigerator repaired or replaced this week April 6th-April 10th.
The customer service rep in the Philippines called me last week and said that they couldnt come back to repair the refrigerator until April 13th.
We are still having to buy ice every day, and use ice chests for our food and drinks.
This whole process is ridiculous, the customers should not have to go through all of this to have a NEW , expensive refrigerator repaired after 4-5 weeks of the delivery date . I expect when I spend that much money on an expensive new appliance to contact ONE person in the United States to own those problem and get it repaired within a week!
I understand that sometimes things happen with any equipment after being bought new and still under warranty.
However, the ongoing process of weeks trying to get it repaired or replaced is totally unnecessary and can and should be fixed ! Modify contracts between the store/ manufacturers/ repair contractors so that the customer can make ONE phone call and not hold for hours, and let them sort out who does what , and have the equipment repaired in a timely manner.
We are EXTREMELY disappointed in Frigidaire equipment after this and will not be purchasing anything else from them which we have done many times over the past few decades.
User's recommendation: Ensure you research reviews online and understand the warranty and process of repairs before purchasing them .

Verified Reviewer |DANGEROUS GAS STOVE
- - Gas odor filled the house and the oven ignition was loud, making us sick.
- - Gas company told not to use the oven, and Frigidaire says it's normal.
Frigidaire had sent out 2 techs to check the issue. Tech #1 would not even pull the stove out to check it saying that it looked too tight/close to the countertop...no way, I did it later.
He did not even turn the stove on to even try and smell the gas. Later I found out that he said that he did it all and that he could not find the problem and things were working. The tech lied about that but still got his $200 fee.The second tech came out and he turned the stove one and even stated that he could smell the gas which encompassed the whole house. He mad a call to the company but could not hear the conversation.
He at times spoke Spanish which this and the other tech did and found this extremely rude . This time I videoed the second tech but not only did he speak Spanish his volume of talking was low so I could not hear. He agreed with us but later found out he submitted a report saying this was normal.I have been dealing with this BS since I had the stove delivered and complained to Lowes about the issue. Lowes has tried it's best to have Frigidaire rectify the situation but to no avail.
Lowes finally stated they would replace the stove with a different model and probably will eat the cost of the other one.
I also have a complete new kitchen done along with all new appliance's and Lowes was great to deal with as well as it's associates who devoted much time to resolve the issue. As a side note the first tech stated that I had the stove over one year so he even lied about that point when I had the stove not even a month and had registered it for a warranty....These techs don't care as long as they get their fee from Frigidaire.I was short of filing a class action suit against Frigidaire with a law firm when I was contacted by Lowes.
Get a written receipt of complaint from gas company and have him explain gas smell, have a fire dept. rep give you written report, file with consumer affairs, pissed consumer web site.
When we went to use the oven, there was an overwhelming odor of gas that filled the house, and then the oven ignited with a loud 'whoosh' and continued to fill the house with gas that made both my wife and me sick. Whenever she opened the oven door to baste the food, the same thing happened again when it was closed. The entire house, two floors and a basement, was filled with the smell of gas, making us sick. We called our gas company, who immediately sent out an employee to check it out.
The gas employee, after his investigation, stated that gas was filling the burner but not igniting until the burner was filled with gas, instead of igniting as the gas entered the burner (I have the gas company report) the gas company employee told us TO NOT USE THE OVEN . Frigidaire was called, and a week later they sent a repair person out, but did not do any repairs, as he said that Frigidaire stated to him that this was a normal operation every time the oven was used. What I am concerned about is that the burner may fail to ignite and gas will become concentrated in the stove, causing it to explode when it does ignite and cause death or injury. The gas company man stated to me that this was the third complaint that he had about this issue.
Until it is fixed, Lowe's and Frigidaire should investigate and/or recall this issue before someone loses their life. Lowe's will be made aware of the issue today. Every time, again, when the oven is used, there is this overwhelming gas filling the home. This is a product safety issue.
Update 12/10/2025: What made the matter worse was that the tech they sent out, who could barely speak English, lied to his boss, telling him that he inspected the stove and found nothing wrong. I should have videoed the lying SOB. He did nothing, no inspection of burners and no inspection of the oven. He said there was nothing that he could do.
So, because of his moronic lying, Frigidaire will do nothing. I hope that if others have experienced this faulty oven, they seek a consumer safety issue and, like I, look at a class action suit since my gas company said this is the third complaint they got in a month.

2 parts were ordered and replaced but geez, took over 2 weeks and no other accommodation as the fridge is ONLY 8 months old. Call center overseas and they just dragged their feet on the repair/replacement. Horrible service.
8 months since we purchased a Frigidaire Gallery and temperature reads "HI" and beeps. 3 days wait for service.
Only freezer door adjusted and no other inspection done . Alarm went off again 2 days later & a 4 day wait for service. Fan broken & told it would take a week and a half for part to come in.
Very time consuming to put food in coolers. Just awful service by Frigidaire/Electrolux.

Im reaching out regarding an issue with my refrigerators icemaker. It recently started making a loud, unusual noise, and shortly after that, it stopped producing ice altogether.
The unit had been working normally prior to this, so the change was quite noticeable.
Ive checked for any obvious blockages or issues, but nothing seems out of place.
Could you please advise on possible troubleshooting steps or let me know if this might require a repair or replacement part? Id appreciate any guidance you can provide on how to resolve this issue.

Hi I bought a Frigidaire ice machine less than 6 months ago. I came home last night and a hard plastic piece of the inside of the machine was in the ice drawer.
I understand these things dont last a life time but I would think they would last longer than 6 moths. Its the Frigidaire gallery counter top. Is there anything that can be done? I loved my ice machine.
Please let me know. Thank you!!

Similar issue ... Frigidaire refrigerator bought at Home Depot and delivered in late July, 2025.
Ice maker stopped working within the first week. We also live in a rural area, with very few options (according to Frigidaire) in terms of service companies who can service the refrigerator. After more than six calls to Frigidaire Customer Service, over a two month period, one of the service companies finally came, diagnosed (frozen ice maker line) and fixed the problem. I know that between calling and/or texting with both Frigidaire and the service companies, I had to have spent more than a 40-hour work week trying to just get a service company to keep the appointments!
I got absolutely NOTHING from Frigidaire for my time and trouble. I feel fortunate that I was not stuck with a refrigerator whose ice maker wasn't working.
Same issue, bought in Dec 2024, started having issues immediately. They said in June it could not be repaired, only replaced. I do not want another piece of their crap appliances!
AMEN!! Frigidaire is garbage.
Same problem. Bought a Frigidaire Gallery Side-by-Side Icemaker fridge. Not enough space and the interior pieces broke off little-by-little within a year. Icemaker not working.
Should have stuck with my old fridge, but wanted to upgrade due to a renovation.
New models are not the same as the old faithfuls. Don't buy.
